The Marlborough Wine Festival 2012
The Marlborough Wine Festival is celebrating its 29th year and is New Zealand's longest running and most successful Wine Festival. Festival goers get the opportunity to sample a unique selection of wines and delicious local produce and gourmet cuisine. The festival has something for everyone including wine tutorials with the region's leading winemakers and viticulturists, the Fashion in the Vines competition, the Supreme food and wine matching competition and fantastic entertainment from some of New Zealand's top performers.
Hello Sailor will be headlining the festival in 2012, along with some wonderful performances from Dane Rumble and Tahuna Breaks The Festival always hosts two outstanding Wine tutorials on the day. Each session is hosted & presented by two of the region's top winemakers. You will learn & interact with a group of wine interested people and can participate for just $32.00 each. The topics are 1) The Evolution of Sauvignon Blanc and 2) The Marlborough Wild Card Red Tasting.
